Today in math class I was practically crying into my AP Statistics textbook because I don't understand what a residual is or how to use my big dumb calculator or how to state the slope of a scatter-plot. And you, the tall blond who sits in the middle of the room, three columns over and 1 row behind, got up and pulled up a chair next to me. You showed me how to do the homework, you told me "It was all a matter of perspective", and you asked me to homecoming.

I'm never going to dread Stats class again. :)
